Travel itinerary

1. Day: Arrival in Montenegro

Arrival at the airport. Transfer by minibus to Cetinje, city tour and overnight stay in Cetinje. Dinner in a restaurant.

2. Day: On old-Austrian ways (approx. 3 hrs hike)

Drive to the Lovcen National Park. Hike to the lookout peaks Babina Glava and Trestenicki Vrh. Drive along the panoramic road to Kotor. Sightseeing of Kotor. Overnight stay and dinner in the bay of Kotor.

3. Day: Panoramic Hike (approx. 4 hrs hike)

Transfer from the hotel to the starting point of the hike. Hike to the panoramic mountain Vrmac between Kotor and Tivat. We start the tour in Trdava Vrmac above Kotor (473m), follow the old K&K military road to the top of Vrmac (682m)/St. Ilija, from there we descend gently to Gornja Lastiva, where we are picked up by the bus again. Overnight stay in Tivat.

4. Day: The Budva Riviera (approx. 4 hrs hike)

We start from the ruins of the Kosmac fortress (820m) above Budva, walk along the ridges to the Ogradenica monastery (628m), descend to the village of Marovici (314m), optionally to the Praskavica monastery (75m). Overnight stay on the Budvanska Riviera.

5. Day: Shkodra

Pick up from the hotel and transfer from Ulcinj to Shkodra, visit the Rozafa Fortress. Overnight stay in Shkodra.

6. Day: Ferry trip and National Park Valbona (approx. 2 hrs hike)

Drive with the Drin to the mountain world of the Prokletije mountains to Bajram Curri. Short hike (2h) in the National Park Valbona. Overnight stay in Bajram Curri.

7. Day: Virpazar

Return journey with the Drin ferry in the early morning. Possibility for further sightseeing of Shkodra; in the afternoon transfer to Virparzar in the National Park Skadar Lake.

8. Day: Departure

Transfer to the airport.
